There is an ideological divide that is starting to form in the adult industry. Those individuals who understand the plight of People of color at the hands of the state and those who don't. Doesn't matter if you are a cam girl, an escort a adult film star or a combination of those. Sex Workers of all variants are either Speaking out about the Killing of George Floyd or they are falling silent. And those who are silent I have a message for you. Your silence is being NOTED.

Now more than ever People need to understand that. If you do not value us as Black people then you really shouldn't ask to be associated with us in a professional capacity. I understand keeping business and personal feelings separate. But Showing No empathy for those whom are being systematically marginalized has to have some ramifications.

I am not here to debate with people whether or not Black people and other people of color are not mistreated by the state. Those facts are irrefutable. I am here to let you know that If you do not value black people as individuals, and can sit idle when we are killed in cold blood in the streets by the police. You can not expect to have good working relationships with us. Who wants to work with individuals who do not value your humanity. Who wants to work with people who can sit and say NOTHING when injustice runs so rampant through our society. You need to understand that your silence is a tacit acceptance of the status quo. And the Status quo cannot and should not be tolerated any longer.

Rioting has added a polarizing variable to this equation. But the simple fact of the matter is this. If black people where not being killed by the police. There would be no rioting. Since when has civil unrest been more important than the cause of that civil unrest? People are upset about buildings being burned and merchandise being destroyed or stolen. All of those things can be replaced. Human life can not. If you can't wrap your heads around that. You are too obtuse to comprehend what is going on right now.

Covid 19 exposed a lot of the socioeconomic disparity in our society.  It was the kenneling. The unjustified murder of George Floyd was the spark that lit the fire. Unfortunately the ignorance and silence of individuals who have the ability to make a difference but don't is the gas that will continue the fire burning until what is left of society is No longer recognizable.

A lot of SW I know and follow on social media are heeding the call and are out in the streets protesting and using their platforms to bring awareness. Those are the types of individuals who stand on principal and will continue to stand on the right side of history. But this should be a message that rings loud and clear. You should understand that your working relationships with Black people. Both the people who patronize you as fans and the Black people you work with in the Sex Work industry will forever be strained by your actions or lack there of in these circumstances.
