The Government is on some Bull shit

So every year sex workers are supposed to pay taxes like good citizens but not expect any help. The Corona virus has stalled the sex work industry. And because of the nature in which these people earn their living. They do not qualify for payments or any type of assistance from the federal relief legislation that just passed in congress last week.

Sex workers are being affected by this crisis almost more than any one else in the economy. The sex work industry brings in about 5 Billion Dollars a year. and you better believe Uncle sam wants his piece of that Pie every fucking year. When you consider the fact that a good amount of men in Congress see Courtesans on a regular basis. This reaps of hypocrisy.

This unfair Victorian attitude toward sex workers is starting to make them desperate and when people become desperate they stop being safe. How many sex workers cant afford to limit human contact when sheltering in place is crucial to trying to slow the spread of this Virus.

Sex workers have had to diversify their revenue streams to try to make ends meet. Right now it is critical. Because until the government decriminalizes sex work as a whole. The stigma attached to it wont change and help wont be on the way. The circumstances sex workers currently find them selves is outrageous.
