Lack of imagination in IR right now
Right now IR is wash rinse repeat and it is getting boring as fuck. You either have a cheerleader a babysitter a mom, some cuck shit, a scene where the dicks out number the chicks a glory hole or a blow bang. There is little to no innovation in the IR genre of porn right now. No one is taking risks or pushing the envelope.
You dont have any of the major studios who produce IR spending any money consistently on different types of scenes. Brazzers for all of the shit I give them do green light some pretty good scenes from time to time. I guess they have the means to give their directors room to create. Arch Angel has some pretty good sets and themes to their IR projects as well. I love what MimeFreak does with Anal Warriors. The women are often leather clad or dressed in grunge with dark make up and dark sets. The scenes are grimy, gritty and have a carnal ambiance about them.
All is not lost however. Some scenes that are being released Do have some alternative artistic qualities to them. Riley Reid has just released a glorious threesome with Abella Danger Rob Piper and her self that is a psychedelic glittery pink adorned fuck fest for her website called Love Drunk. It has great costuming makeup and a great set. AND the kaleidoscope effects during the scene give it a very different vibe. It is easily the best $14 dollars I have paid for a scene in recent memory. You need to buy that damn scene.
IR is the most profitable genre in Porn right now behind lesbian and it is high time More fresh ideas where brought to bare in that space. That is why Black Patrol was so popular for the brief run Bangbros was shooting scenes for it. Yes the subject matter was extremely controversial but the sets the authentic uniforms and the great performances from Joslyn James and Maggie Green made each scene scorching hot. Shame bangbros gave into outside pressures and shut production down on Black Patrol. I was a paying member for that site and was sad to see it go.

So here is to the Risk takers and innovators who are continuing to Push the genre of IR forward. I know there are tried and true formulas that the masses want to see. I get that. Producers and directors want to create content that keeps the majority of their paying audience satisfied. I get that. At the same time however there needs to be more of a Balance for Directors to create more interesting scenarios, sets, themes in the IR genre it self. Here's to those folks like Riley Reid, Mimefreak and others who try to strike that balance.
