Could I date a Porn Star....depends
This topic comes up a lot on adult forums. Could you date a porn star? Could you bare the scrutiny and public admonishment? it depends on who it was. There are a lot of stigmas and misconceptions about sex workers in general not just porn stars. From courtesans to BDSM providers to phone sex
operators to cam girls.
All sex workers no matter what aspect of sex work they facilitate have two faces. One that they share with the world and their clients and one that they have in private. So there is a level to their individuality that is always going to remain private. A quality about them selves that they will only share with their inner circles.
The question of whether or not I personally would date a Porn or any sex worker for that matter depends on that hidden quality of that person's character. A lot of sex workers have a hardness and coldness about them like they are only here to extract money from you. If that is how they where in private as well then No I wouldn't be inclined to try to build a relationship with some one like that. If they where self reflective and where intellectually curious and into sports and where a little geeky. and was socially conscious as well.
Then yes I would bare the public admonishment to date some one who was formally in the adult industry. or Starting to phase out that aspect of their careers.
That leads me to my other condition. I don't know if I could date a porn star or sex worker who was still actively in that industry if what they where doing involved intercourse. I am not into physically open relationships, as I would try my fucking hardest not to sleep with another woman if I was involved with some one. I would want that person to save themselves for me as well. So even though there would still be a part of them that only I would see. I would like them to at the very least be phasing that aspect of their lives out and start to move on to the next phase of their lives.
I am a 33 year old single male. So any woman I deal with now. I am looking to marry her if it works out. I don't know if I could marry a woman if she was still in the sex work industry and part of her job was actually having intercourse with her clients.
